We have been hard at work rapidly producing paper flowers for our Spring release event! I hope you’re getting excited because I know we are!

Join us on Friday, February 5th from 6pm-10pm and everyone who comes will receive a handmade paper flower!

If you’re unable to attend, have no fear here’s a “How To” so you can make them yourself!

Materials needed:

-Crepe Paper in various colors

-Hot glue gun

-Cloth stem wire

-Floral tape

(We purchased our materials from Paper Mart)

Step 1: Cut yellow crepe paper into three inch strips then fringe the three-inch strips.

Step 2: Cut Fuchsia crepe paper into 3x3 inch squares. Fold squares in half and cut into a teardrop shape and wave the top of the petal. Stretch the petal from the middle pulling outward, so the crepe paper curves into a petal shape.

Step 3: Cut green crepe paper into 3x3 inch squares. Fold square in half and cut into a football shape. This is your leaf.

Step 4: Take cloth stem wire and add hot glue then wrap yellow crepe fringe around the wire and glue in place.

Step 5: Randomly glue petals around yellow fringe

Step 6: Glue a green leaf on a cloth stem wire and swirl the wire around the stem of the flower.

Step 7: Wrap floral tape round the stem of the flower.

Step 8: Do a happy dance because you're done!
