We ❤ Specs And The City + Adopting Kittens!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Instagrammer Melissa Cripe AKA @specs_and_the_city for our upcoming #firstfriday release! We reached out to her because we love her quirky and kitchy style. Here are some examples of her previous work:

We were happy to hear she was open to creating something artistic and fun for us and we are thrilled with the end result. She dreamed-up the concept, sourced and made the props and was even a model alongside our friend Leslie aka @splendid_rags (whom you may remember from our Summer pics in Palm Springs).

The icing on top of the cake was being able to find live kittens for the photoshoot. We were able to connect with a local cat shelter called Caring Friends Cat Rescue who let us borrow 7 kittens for the whole day! In between shooting we fell in love with these adorable little kitties, they were all so snuggly. They are adoptable so if you are looking to adopt one of these beautiful kitties, we recommend reaching out to this fantastic shelter!
