Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative, results-driven Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team. As the Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Harveys' social media strategy to elevate brand presence, engage our loyal community, and drive sales across multiple platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate brand that values quality, design, and community-building.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation & Strategy:

    • Develop and implement creative social media campaigns that align with Harveys brand voice, values, and goals.

    • Create engaging, on-brand content for various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Emails and more.

    • Collaborate with the design and sales team to create visually appealing and high-quality images, videos, and graphics for social media posts.

  2. Community Engagement:

    • Actively engage with followers, customers, and influencers to foster a strong community around the Harveys brand.

    • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and friendly manner, ensuring excellent customer service.

    • Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, brand advocates, and content creators to collaborate on social media campaigns.

  3. Social Media Strategy & Analytics:

    • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales.

    • Monitor and analyze social media performance, tracking KPIs such as engagement rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics.

    • Adjust campaigns based on data insights to improve performance and ROI continuously.

  4. Campaign Management:

    • Manage all licensed social media within the specified guidelines.

    • Manage paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.), ensuring budget adherence and performance optimization.

    • Plan, execute, and report on seasonal and product-specific campaigns to boost brand visibility and sales.

    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of cross-platform campaigns.

  5. Trend Monitoring & Competitor Analysis:

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing.

    • Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

  6. Content Calendar & Scheduling:

    • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar to ensure consistent posting across all platforms.

  7. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce industries.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)

    • Strong written and visual communication skills; ability to craft compelling copy and create on-brand visual content.

    • Experience with paid social advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) and managing ad budgets.

    • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.

  • Creative Vision: A passion for storytelling, aesthetics, and creating visually compelling content.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with the design, marketing, and sales teams to align social media efforts with business goals.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with current trends in the handbag and fashion accessory industries is a plus.

  • Other: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail.
