Harveys x Star Wars Event Recap!

A long time ago (this past Saturday) in a galaxy far away (Santa Ana)...

we celebrated the release of our new Star Wars collection! To commemorate this new line of out of this world bags, we went all out at our in-store release event. And what better day to have it on than May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day!

From character bags to go with everyone's favorite Star Wars characters, to a nostalgic comic book print seatbelt, this collection had everything any Star Wars-loving fan could want!

After a speech from Melanie and Dana, we opened for business! But...what's that heavy breathing I'm hearing...?

Oh! It's Darth Vader! Guests who came to our event were greeted by Vader, Stormtroopers, and Jawas, who took photos with fans while they waited to make their purchases!

We love how much fun everyone had interacting with the characters!

The first 100 customers were treated to our exclusive VIP package which included an exclusive Star Wars pin, Dustbag, and Lanyard! They were also treated to access to our behind the scenes event located upstairs which included a signing station with Dana and Melanie Harvey, multiple photo locations, and a "Cantina" experience! Let's head upstairs to see!

As soon as you got upstairs you'd see our first photo spot! This was actually the same photo backdrop we created for our Star Wars photoshoot! We also included some props for people to use.

Next up was our "Cantina"! A Harveys take on the Cantina seen in Star Wars, we served "Jedi" Blue Milk, "Sith" Passion Lemonade, and "Lightspeed" Cake Pops. Guests were able to lounge in the Cantina room, which had futuristic light up furniture and of course, was playing the classic Cantina song on loop!

Towards the back of our event was where Dana and Melanie were signing bags and taking photos on our second photo backdrop.

This backdrop was a blown-up version of the same comic print we used on our bags! It made for a really fun background.
